Under the hood, Chevrolet is introducing two all-new sixth-generation small-block V8 engines, a 5.7-liter and a 6.6-liter, replacing the outgoing 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter units. A New Digital Cockpit
Every 2027 Silverado 1500 comes standard with a class-leading 16.3-inch center touchscreen and a 12.2-inch driver information display, giving the entire lineup a modern, connected feel right from the base trim. On the ZR2 and High Country, an additional 11.5-inch front passenger screen joins a head-up display and rear camera mirror, adding up to more than 60 inches of combined digital display space.
Inside, the cabin introduces available dual wireless charging and a reconfigurable Multi-Flex center console that adds smart, everyday storage without sacrificing usability. Chevrolet has also expanded the availability of hands-free Super Cruise, which now supports automated lane changes even while towing.

The 2027 Silverado 1500 ZR2 becomes the off-road flagship of the entire Silverado family. Chevrolet has equipped it with a two-inch lift, a dedicated off-road hood, and Multimatic DSSV dampers paired with jounce dampers to keep the truck composed at speed over rough terrain.
Inside, the ZR2 gets its own unique treatment with Torch Red accents and Torch Red-edged seatbelts, along with real forged carbon-fiber trim on the doors and console, a first for the Silverado lineup.
