We feel like the service department has started to use a scare tactic to try and get consumers to pay for more services that are asked for AND required. We were notified of 7 "critical" things. Not recommended. One of those things is not due until the end of NEXT month (state inspection) and then the service department tried to charge us for it when we have been told that it is free because the vehicle was bought at RK.

I would have selected excellent but of the three things I needed done, oil change, fix a leaking tire and repair/replace a tire pressure sensor, they forgot to repair the tire pressure sensor. After paying, I noticed, and it took about another hour, extending my time waiting for my car. Normally I receive great service with your dealership, just this time, someone dropped the ball.

My biggest issue has been every time I have picked up my vehicle and gone to the cashier, I have been charged for the service. Problem is that I have the GM maintenance plan. I even told the person checking me in to make sure that was indicated on my paperwork so I wouldn’t have to go through this again. The older lady who I have dealt with before seemed to be bothered when I brought up the fact I shouldn’t owe anything. She went to get with the service person and came back to say she had stepped away and for me to take a seat. Didn’t sit well with me. I realize that RK is a smaller operation but I chose to purchase a vehicle with you. I hope the service department can so better.

I think your appointment system should be revamped. You state that the appointment is only the check-in time. Making an appointment should be the the service time. Otherwise what is the point to making an appointment. Schedule your appointments to what you can do. Being told two hour wait for an oil change is not right when I scheduled an appointment. Only schedule the appointments you can accommodate reasonably. Show-ups should be worked into the scheduled appointments or else just have a first come first serve system and become with it. Despite my appointment, a simple oil change and tire rotation took almost 2 hours. Afterwards, the truck interior smelled of oil, there was grease on the floor mat, and - the worst- the tech scratched my painted wheels with the lug wrench. Not happy.

Was a cero star experience. Even front desk told me she sees this happen a lot. And manager and customer service still not advise the client about that service location not having affiliation with other dealership oil change for life. Hopefully this help them to advise or at least ask questions before signing tablet. This is something should be put out when you do the app or at least when you get there. Manager only answer you did sign the tablet when you arrived. This definitely is not Customer service. If this is a situation that happen often they should advise the client

am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received during my recent visit. My appointment was scheduled for 7:45 AM for an oil change, inspection, and tire rotation—services that are typically straightforward. However, I ended up waiting in the lobby until 1:30 PM for the work to be completed. Despite arriving on time and clearly being present in the waiting area, no one communicated with me regarding delays or status updates. Around 11:30 AM, I approached the counter to ask for an update, only to be told by Steve that there was an error in the check-in process—they did not realize I was waiting with the vehicle. This oversight is unacceptable, especially when I observed other customers being promptly assisted. The lack of communication and disregard for my time was frustrating and disappointing. I expect much better service and accountability, particularly for such routine maintenance.

We had multiple issues with the dealership in regards to service of my 2018 Colorado diesel and the subsequent purchase of a 2025 Colorado to replace it. The new truck had multiple alarms concerning braking safety issues 24 hours after purchase. When bringing the new vehicle in to have it looked at, I was told they can't look at it for a couple of weeks. I was traveling from out of state and didn't have the time to wait. After getting some help from sales to put pressure on service to look at it, they determined that I needed a new brake master cylinder and ordered one to be there the next day. Unfortunately the part didn't come with the brake reservoir and couldn't get one for it was back ordered with no firm date on availability. I had the choice to leave truck there to be serviced and use a rental truck to tow my camper back home and have the truck trailered to my home after service was completed or just take the truck and continue my journey. I decided to take the truck as the problems did not effect the physical braking of the vehicle. It was a very stressful experience all around and didn't feel the dealership responded well to our situation. We tried to replace the vehicle with a similarly equipped one but the pricing was more for those presented, and we felt we didn't want to pay 4k more for it and there was no effort to negotiate a compromise. There also wasn't anything the dealership offered as any recompense for our troubles. We would not recommend this dealership to anyone although our sales rep Ricky was good. I'm right now sitting at my local dealership trying to have this mess dealt with.

These instances though rare create a frustrating scenario as there is no mechanism for simply swapping out the vehicle. Typically we recommend ensuring the vehicle has been corrected to your satisfaction prior to requesting any goodwill requests. These requests can be made by us or at the dealer that you are currently working with to resolve the concerns with the new truck. I left my car on Monday, May 5th for an inspection, oil change, and the 65,000-mile service. I was informed that there was an issue with the transmission, and I approved the repair—despite the extremely high cost I was charged. I received a call on Wednesday, May 7th to pick up my car, but only after I had called on Tuesday and received no response. When I arrived on Thursday to pick it up, I was suddenly told that my car was no longer ready, and that the computer system was not responding correctly with my vehicle. From that point on, I made numerous phone calls to find out the status of my car, but always received the same response: “We’ll call you back”—yet no one ever did. Yesterday, Thursday, May 14th—ten days after I initially dropped off my vehicle—I was informed that the transmission needs to be replaced. No price was given, except that it would be “very expensive.” That’s when I decided to remove my car from that service center and not return—nor will I purchase a Chevy again. It’s truly disappointing that after so many years of owning Chevys, I now find myself choosing to walk away from the brand.

Emails on availability of vehicles were never returned. Salesman knew little about the vehicles I test drove. Was cock sure the first truck wasn’t a 4x4. The 2nd truck I test drove that eventually bought was filthy inside and out. When I mentioned the dealer fees were ridiculous salesman told me it was required by law. A lie. I’ve negotiated dealer fees many times. I was told repeatedly you weren’t making any money off this sale. Another lie. I agreed to a price at 3pm and sat for two hours while being told I was next in line for two hours. I told the salesman to have them take their time cleaning the truck. That I was going to pick it up at 2pm the next day. When I got there the next day, more waiting around to put temp tags on it. Why wasn’t ready to go?!!. The Cleaning was terrible inside and out. I had to leave the dealership and go straight to a car wash to clean it myself. I was so disgusted in the process I wanted to just get out of there and not have to wait to get it cleaned properly. I took photos and sent it to the salesman on 5/22 when he emailed me saying he’d like my friends and family to receive the professionalism and courtesy I got. Seriously?? I’m a repeat customer and couldn’t recommend RK to any friends or family in good faith.

The service that was conducted was great. However, I needed a diagnoses of my engine and electronics due to a dangerous problems that been occurring for sometime. I asked for it in the pervious service, I was told it was done. Come the find out it wasn't. I was told by the service lady who said they didn't have time today and I needed to setup an appointment. You would think Chevrolet would like to know if there are problem with there vehicles Additional because of the serious issue, my car sustained damage, to when I called about setting gup my service Saturday, I was given the number for the collision repair department. I called them and mentioned that I was getting service on the 31st and they said I could stop by afterwards for an estimate. Well as it turns out, they were closed. Really, you couldn't have told you are close or they didn't know there own schedule?

It took over a month to get an appointment. I dropped my car off to get serviced. I never received a call nor an update about my car, until two days after I dropped it off. I was called and told that my car was ready and when I got there my engine light was still on. I then, had to leave the car for another day to get it serviced again! My tire pressure was low and so was my windshield fluid. Such a bad experience.

Left my car for oil change, tire rotation, oil leak diagnosis, AC diagnosis, squeak in the rear when driving. First day I heard nothing so I called, left message asking for status, no response. Second day I called again in the morning, asking for status and nothing had been done. Called again later in afternoon and was told only oil change and tire rotation was done, was told my brake pads needed to be changed. Asked why they were checking brakes when they hadn’t even done the requested services. Was told that was probably the cause of squeaking even though I had written on the service request that the squeaking occurred when driving not breaking. No explanation, no apologies. Just told I could come get my car if I was disappointed with what they had done. Very disappointing to be without a car for two days and all they did was oil change tire rotation, I could have had that done in 15 minutes at jiffy lube. Poor customer service. I will not be back

I’ll preface this review by saying shame on me. This is my third time buying a vehicle from RK Chevrolet. My first buy was great, second time was horrible, and third buy was good. I looked at the mileage on the test drive and it said 118. The Buyer’s Purchase said my mileage was 15. The inspection paperwork from NC said 42 and the inspection paperwork from RK SERVICE on the date of pick up said 398. I thought being a repeat buyer would get me a deal. I got the same discounts as a first time buyer. Not purchasing here again but would I would bring my vehicle to their service department which I would recommend. Learn from my mistakes. Every time I come there it’s an issue about my maintenance plan. Your staff acts like they never heard of someone having a maintenance plan. The guy that assisted me that day was kinda rude if you ask me. Also, I’m normally called n told about needing to replace my air filter and this time I wasn’t. I will say he got me in and out quicker then it’s ever been but I question what was done. I asked to speak to a manager and one never called back. Your systems should show I have a maintenance plan and what’s included. I shouldn’t have to explain it when I schedule, check in and then again when I check out. And I shouldn’t be treated like I’m stupid when I say I have the maintenance plan. I pulled up told him I had the maintenance plan and Your employee said “You have the maintenance plan” like he was mocking me. Maybe he was trying to be funny but I didn’t think it was cute or professional. Then no one seems to know what my maintenance plan covers. Then I go to check out and she tries charging me and I have to tell her I have the maintenance plan. She should already know. As I told your sarcastic employee it’s not my fault your system doesn’t tell them but I did when I made the appointment so at that point it should be noted they should know what it covers. So your system needs updated and your people need to make notes for next person so your customers aren’t asked the same questions over and over.

I recently brought my Blazer in for service, and I wanted to provide honest feedback about my experience. Unfortunately, the initial check-in was unpleasant. The woman who checked me in was unprofessional, bordering on rude and dismissive, and rolled her eyes during our interaction. It left a very poor first impression. On top of that, communication throughout the process was inconsistent. When I was called about the work needed, I clearly stated what I wanted done, but later found out that not all of the agreed-upon work had even been started. I ultimately had to speak with the manager over the weekend to get things sorted out. He was very kind, took responsibility, and ensured everything was finally addressed, which I appreciated. The cashier at pickup was also great - friendly and efficient. However, my assigned service advisor did not communicate clearly, and the overall experience, particularly at check-in, left much to be desired. Plus, when calling in, if my service advisor wasn’t available the people that answered the phone were unwilling to help - I even asked for a total price on my bill because then I’d be able to tell if the additional work that hadn’t been done was completed by the price increase since they wouldn’t tell me. The first vehicle I purchased was flawed and had to be returned to the dealership. I was given a rental to use until they found me a replacement vehicle. To date, I have not been given a copy of my sales agreement showing my down payment or any of the other paperwork that’s necessary for the car. Also, my telephone was synced to my car and that failed. I have asked twice now for a video which Dennis says he has so that I can link that again and that video has not been forthcoming. I would say this was not a very good experience with RK Chevrolet this time

Arrived and less than 5 minutes after pulling into the service lane, the service advisor (or mechanic ) came out and got my truck. I was there to have my 1st oil change(my truck is new ) and a recall service (software/firmware upgrade) done. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. In my mind, that was good and service. Overall, I was satisfied with the whole experience and seeing that this was my first oil change and all vehicle recall services are usually free, I didn’t have to pay for anything this visit. It was the start of a good day for me. Thank you R.K. Auto Service Department.

I dropped my vehicle off to be fixed on June 16th . I never got any updates or calls I had to call to check the status of vehicle . When I finally picked it up and paid for the service on June 21st , before I even made it home the same problem I dropped my vehicle off to get fixed for continued to persist . So essentially my vehicle was held for a week and I paid for nothing to be done while also putting myself in danger driving back home thinking my car was safe and fixed having just picked it up . After speaking with the manger Jake, I dropped my car back off on Jun 22 and have at the very least been given a rental . however, I have not received any phone calls or received any updates about what is actually wrong with my vehicle or if it’s even being worked on since dropping it off . This entire process has been incredibly inconvenient & the worst car service I have ever received and will definitely be making a formal complaint to whoever highest up I need it to reach

The front seat area had a strong smell of cigarette and they did not ask me why I am there until about 15 minutes. Their office was so dirty. And they were not nice people. It seemed like they did not care. After I dropped my car, it took over 4 hours to fix my car which was a 15 minute work. And during that time, I called them four times, I was not able to reach to the supervisor who had my car to get update on him. And they did not clarify from the beginning that they provide Uber. I ordered Uber and I had to cancel it when I knew about RK Uber service.

On July 3, 2025 I brought my 2017 Spark in for service. I told the service writer that I wanted the transmission pan dropped, the filters replaced, and new fluid added. Later you approached me and said that the Spark doesn't have filters. I didn't desire to argue the point because I figured when the technician dropped the transmission pan he would see the filters. I was surprised when paying that I was charged for a transmission flush and not service. The Jatco CVT transmission has a history of failures. To offset the potential failure I wanted the filters replaced. I still wanted the filters and pan gasket replaced. The Spark has two transmissions filters; part numbers 25198769 and 25194693 and the gasket is part number 4561102700. After a week's worth of discussion RK agreed that the vehicle does have filters but they don't change them. The dealer will only perform a transmission flush. They should have told me this upfront and I would have taken the vehicle to an independent shop. True, CVT transmissions can failed after a filter change. However, the transmission can also fail after a flush.

Check engine light came on for the Fuel Pump Control Module, a known issue through GM. I called my point of contact, Jay Craig(Service Department Manager), and he let me know this is potentially on me despite the recalls. We set up an appointment for 8 days later- the earliest this dealer was able to see me for a vehicle that shuts off with no warning and less than 38,000 miles on it. I was proactive with making sure the Parts Department had a FPCM in stock and they held it with my name on it. Dropped the truck off, and was told when it would be ready. Dealer called the next day to say they couldn't find the part that was pulled for me, and they found it 4 hours later when I called to check on it. Peter Daskal was my service advisor, and we discussed that I could make it if it was ready by 4:30PM. He called at 5:00PM and said it would be close to closing time if I made it there from my 1.5 hour commute to the dealership. He said that he knew they messed around with my timing and that he would either wait for me, or leave the keys in the truck and unlocked since he knew I would only be a few minutes behind, potentially. I thanked him and said I'd sign whatever I needed to to get him to leave it unlocked. Got to the lot, and the truck was locked and Peter had left. I had to call the previous General Manager and GM Customer Service before my 1.5 hour ride back home and additional 1.5 hour ride in the following morning to talk to current General Manager Blane Greer. This is not the only issue I have had with R.K. over the years, and I have had to contact GM Customer Service many times, but the dealership has not shown any improvements. I have left Google reviews on the website to hopefully deter people from buying here and saving them from similar treatment. I can buy the same vehicle from any GM dealer, but the supporting service is what makes the dealership what it is. Mr. Greer made it a point to listen and said he would talk to the other two involved in this. When I took the car in, I told the advisor EXACTLY what needed to be done: The gas fill tube had a leak. I was charged a diagnostic fee and received a call telling me that I had a leak in the gas fill tube. I argued that I had already specified that that was the problem. Although the fee was reduced to 50%, I believe that I should not have been charged for the diagnostic, especially considering the cost of the actual repair. Then, upon checking out, I was informed that there is now a 3% charge for using a credit card. Had I been notified of this change in advance, I would have brought a check with me. I was told then that it went to the credit card company and not RK. Really? Credit card companies have always charged a fee and that has traditionally been built in to the cost.

So when i bought the car the sales man said i got 3 free oil changes but he never put it in the system so i paid $100 for #2. And then not even 24 hours after my service one of my tire pressure sensors went out. I also had what appears to be a bad update for the active noise cancellation technology and i get bad sound coming through when driving on highways. Over all not a good experience so far.

My appointment wasn’t actually an appointment. I waited almost 20 mins past that time just for intake. Then found out hours later that my vehicle would t be looked at until the next day. It was supposed to be back same day. It was 3-4 hours of work, at most and took 2 days. The service Rep, Steve, read the paperwork wrong and tried to sell me on 4 new tires when all I wanted was a plug for a nail hole, which I ultimately ended up just replacing. All my phone calls over two days were not answered. Messages left were never returned. Over $250 labor charge, for 4 hours or work that took 2 days is ridiculous. And if milking customers in labor is t bad enough, passing on the 3% cc fee is insulting. That is part of your cost of doing business. You should be eating that, not passing it on to customers.

Not the best this time, was told it would take 2 days to get tires in (confused why a chevy dealership does not have tires in stock for a corvette) and the estimate time to repair kept changing (turned into a week). To get that info, that the car was not ready, we had to pull vice you guys pushing the change in pick up time for the car. Definitely not the standard of repair/work that we have enjoyed in the past from RK. Additionally, the tires are significantly more expensive than discount tire, but due to the state inspection, we decided to go with RK. Understand you will be more expensive but feel the delta in tire prices should be better aligned to competitors. So in summary, paid more for worse service than your competitors.

I waited for 5 hours for a simple oil change and state inspection. As much as I appreciate the free inspection for purchasing my vehicle with RK, it costs me so much time (which is also money) sitting there. I understand you can drop off the vehicle, but if someone is waiting it shouldn’t be the same amount of time as someone dropping off. I’ve done both. Tim was pleasant, I know he felt bad, not his fault. I also don’t believe your pricing should be so inflated, a simple tag bulb (which come in a 2-pack for $8) shouldn’t be $32 for one. That’s ridiculous. I will not be bringing my vehicle back for anything. I was trying to give RK the benefit of the doubt, but this was the final straw, every time I come in it’s a laundry list of stuff to do, and most of it is overpriced and unnecessary. Wish I could give better feedback. But most of my experiences have been poor.

They had my truck for 15 days. I had to call to see if it was ready. Picked it up and had to turn around and bring it back. Computer not working correctly. Three days later I'm told the antenna is missing. It had one when I brought my truck in. Video shows it had the antenna while in the shop. Then the rude service manager accused me of loosing it and wanted over 100.00 dollars to replace it. Contacted Mike Hill and this wonderful man had an antenna put on my truck and had it delivered to me. Hope I never have to deal with the rude service manager again.

So Michael was great! Everything was smooth and efficient with the selling of the car. However, the car tire pressure is 41 (according to the sticker on the door). My tires were only filled up to 35. Being that it was cold the other day they were reading 33 and 32 psi. The maintenance people didn’t fill up the tires all the way. I had to do that myself when they should’ve been correct off the lot.

First of all it wasn’t 8/27/2025 it was 3/15/2025 and my vehicle sat for two months before anyone touched it and that’s because I went in to speak with a manager. I wasn’t even offered a loaner vehicle until then. My car is still doing the same thing it was doing when I originally took it on in October of 2024, over $6000 I paid and my car is still not running right. When I called the day after I picked it up and let them know they tell me that it can’t be looked at for 2 weeks, so I go by there and Mallory gives me a appointment for September 8th. I am very disappointed with the recent service I have received. I need my vehicle to be running right I have stage 5 renal failure and I to get to my dialysis appointments and doctors appointments.

At my first visit, I had dropped my car off for a diagnosis. I never heard anything all day, and when I called at 4pm, they said they never got to my car, and they were too busy. I had to go back the next day. They said I needed a new part so I paid for it to be ordered... then radio silence. I called back 3 weeks later asking if the part had come in and if I could get it replaced. They had never reached out to get me scheduled when the part came in, I have no idea how long it was sitting at the shop. I went in for the part to be replaced. I waited for 3 hours and got an email that my car was complete. No one at the front desk notified me that I could check out. I waited 30 minutes before asking the desk if I was ready to go, they said my advisor had gone to lunch. Overall, I was not impressed with the level of professionalism exhibited by the staff at this location. I feel that they are not proactive in customer service.

Had an oil change and tire rotation. Oil life % was not reset so wasn't sure if oil change was done or just forgot to reset. So had to go back and get it verified that oil change was done and get oil life% reset. The tire change was done however the TPMS was not recalibrated. Back tires now showed front tire pressure and front tires now showed back tire pressure. Had to go back and get them recalibrated. And back to the oil change, just noticed that the oil change sticker on the windshield was not changed. I'm not going back again to get that changed, too many unnecessary trips.

Had an appointment, dropped my truck off for an oil change at 845am, didn’t get my truck back until 5:30pm. I had to call several times to get an update. And it went from the 2 hours until the end of the day. I had to call off from work. Also at the end of the day, I was given recommendations. The shop was closing soon so I would have to have left my truck again for another day. Also the estimate sheet given online is way off. If I’m quoted $41.46 for an oil change, why did it come up to over $71? This whole process was a pain to be honest.

The vehicle was brought in for an oil change and inspection. It was also requested to check the cause of engine light. It was later told I needed engine filters with no estimated cost provided. Later receiving a bill for 300+ dollars. The vehicle has around 3472 miles. Why would it need engine filters already? Also it stated I needed 4 tires. Again, the vehicle has only 3472 miles. Why tires so soon? I do not race this vehicle.

The car was dropped off, never checked in then the service writer said he would comp some of the cost due to forgetting to work on it for an entire business day. Then I had to pay the total balance. When I asked the service writer about the discount he promised me, he said he had a lot on his mind. Unacceptable that the car was there for 3 days for a simple service appointment. And this is third time the vehicle was not processed correctly. The actual work performed was great.

The man at the counter was so very nice and helpful. However, the maintenance team did not fix my camera at all and two of the buttons were not replaced so I have to go back to the dealership again once those buttons are in. I was told that they did a thorough check and everything would be fixed upon the last time I was there and then when I went and picked up my vehicle. I put it in reverse and also and drive in the camera still was not working properly. I then realized that my buttons that were melted were also not replaced.

Then for me to still have to pay $44 for a car that I drove home and back there and had it all of what maybe 5hrs is crazy if anything it should be either $15 or something $44 is over kill when I returned same day. Not even 24 hrs later. Then was told well your truck is fine if you’d like you can keep the rental another day. No so then I’d owe $88. It’s asinine to me it should’ve either been voided out or way less than that.

The only downside is was locating my truck when I went to pick it up I was told it was located in one of the employee parking spaces. Unfortunately there are many "employee parking spaces" located around the dealership. After 30 minutes of looking I requested assistance from one of the customer assistance technicians who was able to locate my truck after an additional 10 minutes of searching.

Dropped my truck off for a routine oil change and tire rotation on Monday morning. Dealership was busy because it was a very long wait before I was greeted, I did not have an appointment. It’s never easy or convenient to be without a vehicle for a day. When I came back later in the afternoon I was told everything was completed and I paid for the service. When I got home, I noticed my tires were all in the same spot because I have a plug in one of the back tires and it was still in the same spot. I called my service advisor, Tim Winter and told him that I paid for a tire rotation and it wasn’t done. He started to tell me that my tires were rotated, but I stopped him and told him about the plug and everything still being in the same spot. Instead of apologizing, he made an excuse for the service team as to why they may have missed it and told me to bring it back in. This is terrible customer service in my opinion. No apology, no offer to make it right, no offer for an adjustment to what I paid to make up for the inconvenience of having to bring my truck back in. For $107 ( that’s with a coupon), I would expect all services to be completed. I have not had the opportunity to bring my truck in to have the tires properly rotated, but I plan on doing so within the next week. Very frustrated, and this experience has negatively impacted the level of trust I have with RK Chevrolet.

My service consultant Taryn was top notch. She had excellent and timely communication, went above and beyond to get my vehicle done (she walked my antenna cover to the body shop for paint to speed up my vehicle service), and she secured a loaner vehicle based on my need. However, the actual repairs on my vehicle were very slow (20 days) due to GM not shipping proper parts to complete the repairs and not approving expedited shipping of necessary parts that we not previously shipped. Additionally, my car picked up a screw in the tire in the RK parking lot, which thankfully the service staff took care of. Once completed, my car was extremely dirty on the exterior. It was fairly clean up bringing it to the dealership. If the RK lot is that dirty it would be nice for a vehicle to be run through a quick wash before returning it to the customer. Lastly, while I truly appreciated the loaner vehicle, I was pulled over by Virginia Beach police for the license plate being on the front of the car instead of the rear. I was fortunate not to receive a ticket, but I had to return to RK and wait 30-40 min for the license plate to be switched to the back of the car. The experience was embarrassing and an inconvenience that should not have happened! Taryn will be the main reason I continue to service my car at RK, however I hope my next experience is a bit better.

But, the HUBCAPS on the LEFT side of the truck where NOT secured with both bolts, thus both where loose coming home (one of two bolts attached only). Had to verify that wheels where properly torqued, so this is an issue where the tech forgot this last check. Did not loose anything, so all good, but this is not to happen....

2nd time I have used RK Chevrolet and had the same experience! No communication! I would call every day and ask about the status of my repairs --- DJ was my 'advisor" and would not take my calls ( always busy or with a customer ) and did NOT return my calls! Over and over! My car was there for 7 days ... no one could give me any information on it. I will find another Chevy dealer the next time I need repairs. It doesn't bother me if the repairs are going to take a week, or a part is back ordered or short staffed - just talk to me and let me know! And based on all the mechanical issues with my 2021 Chevy Trailblazer, I will not own a Chevrolet again!

I purchased a vehicle at the end of the October. I have to say this was the worst process from start to end and I have done this process over 30 times in my life. The vehicle had issues from the test drive forward and your sales department deceived me into thinking it was fixed at the time of purchase. They did not keep service in the loop and they disclosed to me, I would say by accident, that nothing was diagnosed during their first check prior to purchase, just codes cleared. Upon taking possession of the vehicle the check engine light came on in less than 20 miles. The following day I ran the codes and discovered no work was done on the vehicle by your shop. Blaine never returned my call and Nate defended the process saying it was under warranty. Not the point, when someone tells me something is done and then I discover it to be false all credibility is thrown out the window. Service repaired and still had to come back again as the repair was not done properly. The vehicle made a noise at 15mph, I could not figure out why. Spoke with manager and test drove and he could not hear it. Even had video sound of noise each and every time during slow down. After researching online found out it was DFM induced. How does a service manager not know this? The frustration level after the purchase does not warrant any kind of recommendation for future business at RK. I can get this level service at any other dealership.

The entire experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Scheduled to replace tire after sidewall lac, driving on a spare. Spoke with appointments and parts dept, specified tire, said they would order, scheduled appt in a few days. Emailed service advisor (Ashley) to check on order as they seemed disorganized on the phone. No response. Called two days later, day before appt, they never ordered the tire. Said it would be in next day and keep my 1030 appt. Said a manager would call me (Todd), never did. Came for appt and no tire. Rescheduled appt. When I came for appt few days later, they had no record of the appt and I waited three hours to have one tire changed. Then they bring my car out with spare access door hanging open, grease all over the tire and rim, centerpiece Chevy emblem missing from the rim. Had to go back and they had left it on the counter. No apologies for the poor performance. It was a complete shitshow.

Communication was nonexistent. We had to call to get an update. They kept the car for three days for an oil change and state inspection. I will never use RK Chevrolet again for state inspections. This is 4 years in a row that they come up with things to fail the state inspection when nothing is wrong with the vehicle before we brought it in. Everytime it is over $2k to get my vehicles to pass inspection and each one vehicle is less than 10 years old.

I ran into an unexpected issue with my warranty. I have all the signed paperwork in my dash glovebox but it was reported that I did not go forward with the extended warranty and had cancelled it. I recall initially doing this bur coming back and getting the Warranty. It makes no sense to keep the signed paper work in the glove box if I had not. I need to go forward with the extended warranty and want RK to follow up with this. It simply made no sense and was a complete surprise, as I had extended warranties on three of my four cars last year.

A yearly inspection and oil change took approximately almost 4 hours. I was the second one there I was told that it would not take long and I should be out of there within an hour to an hour and a half then once I got my car back after asking several times and yes thank you I did not get charged for that but then my car smelled of a car shop like oil and grease which then I had to try to get that smell out all of this while I was trying to be out of there and on time to be going out of town which they knew that also please tell people that you do not open till eight. Do not tell them you open at 7:30 in the morning, tell them you can line up at 7:30 but work does not begin till eight. Many many customers as I said in the waiting area was complaining about this then they were going to do some kind of valve cleaner. I’m not sure what it was that didn’t get done and they wanted $350 for it I followed up with other dealerships and a close friend who owns the dealership and said there’s no way that it should cost this much. God forbid if I would’ve had that done also.

1. I prefer to be called "Mr. Schimmelpfennig", not "Darlin'" by the service representative. 2. I was in for an initial oil change on a pickup I had purchased from RK. After 2 hours from "check in" I went looking for someone to give me a status. I asked a young lady at the desk about my truck and she said she couldn't help me because she wasn't the person that checked me in. I asked if she knew where the person was that checked me in and she responded "no". I asked is she could check the status on her computer and she said "no". I wandered into the parking lot and found my truck and it looked like they finished with it so I went back to the service desk to ask another girl about the status. She "rolled her eyes" and said " well, we sent you an email that it was finished 45 minutes ago!" When I checked in, I told them I would be in the customer lounge and the girl said they would come and let me know it was finished; NOTHING about an email. Not a good first impression from a dealer that had just sold me a new truck and told me their service was "fantastic".

After the check-in process for an oil change and new sticker inspection appointment at 8:30, I sat for over two hours. No word, nothing. Finally I went to the counter for check-in and the "gentleman" DJ was rather rude when I asked when would my car be ready? He then said that a mechanic had to leave for health issues, and there was a back-up in a sharp tone. I went back to the waiting room and tried to calm myself down. Soon DJ came into the waiting room and was totally rude again and even taunted me with his reply that maybe I wanted to make another appointment to which I said NO! However, after another hour, i spoke to someone else's check-in person and asked if there was a manager for the check-in crew. She told me Jim was his name, and I then asked what his whole name was...Jim Gillespie. She was very polite and helpful as I did not want another encounter with DJ. Jim came out and spoke to me and the lady also waiting for her car replied that she also was experiencing the same thing, but that DJ was quite rude to me. Jim said he would check it out and soon returned. The issue was two-fold...man did leave, but also DJ did not appropriately enter my car for service. Jim assured me that my car would be out soon. After four plus hours, Jim came back and said the car was done and asked me to check out at no charge, and he would escort me to my car. I checked my car out and obtained the key, but the cost was not the issue. I would have paid though it was nice and appropriate for Jim to help. He assured me that DJ would be taken care of as I said no other person should have to be treated as I was. The lady whom I had sat with for hours was also in for an oil change, and I felt like without her as my witness, I would have continued to be ignored. My father and uncle were both retired from GM; they would have been mortified at how I was treated. We are a military family and believed in American cars. However, what I experienced was sad and disrespectful. I was only there as my husband had been operated on for cancer in DC and was recuperating. This stress was unwarranted! I am a well-educated woman and did not appreciate being treated rudely! The only reason you got even two stars was because of Jim and the others that helped. Very sad for a GMC dealership!

The Service Department at RK Chevy is awesome. My service advisor Taryn is the best I have ever worked with at a dealership service center. She takes the time to detail what is happening with the vehicle when dropping it off and followed the repair process all the way through, updating me multiple times until the vehicle was ready for pickup. I had my entire engine replaced as part of the 6.2-liter recall and have had no issues, noises, fluid leaks, transmission problems or electronic issues since. I followed that service up with a complete break job for all 4 wheels and again nothing but perfect performance post repair. I can only assume that the RK technicians are the best in the business, and my Silverado will go nowhere else for service.

My experience at RK started out well, I walked in to the dealership and I was met right away by a nice young man who turned out to be a sales manager. I got comfortable with him right away after I found out that he's a military veteran just like me. I told him that I have a specific vehicle that I'm interested in and after that, he introduced me to a salesman who presented the vehicle that I was looking for. We discussed the numbers and after some time of discussion, I agreed to buy the vehicle. My folder was given to the finance department and I was told that I will be called as soon as a finance guy is free. Two hours have passed and I still haven't been called to speak to the finance personnel. I started getting frustrated and it was getting late in the evening. I told the salesman that my wife and I have a meeting to go to and I have to go. He arranged for me to take the vehicle home with a dealer tag and come back the following morning to complete the transaction. I arrived early at the dealership the following day and was brought to the waiting lounge and wait for the finance personnel to call me. I didn't see a lot of customer when I walked in but I still ended up waiting for an hour before I was called in. At this point, my frustration from waiting for a long time the night before was compounded with more waiting time and I ended up voicing my frustration to the finance personnel. Thank goodness we completed the transaction in less than 30 minutes. There's one thing that I regret not doing, I should have taken a picture of the piece of paper that the sales manager used when we were discussing the numbers. When I finally calmed down, I looked at the papers that I signed and I feel that the price of the vehicle listed is different from the price that was presented to me on the worksheet by the sales manager. Of course, I have no way of proving that.

The complimentary oil change took 3 hours to get done. Most oil changes take at most 30-45 minutes to get done. I even had an appointment time set up, which confused me when I was told there were multiple people ahead of me. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I was given the wrong keys. I informed the worker that all my other keys were missing, and I was told they were in my vehicle. After going to the spot I was told, which was E 144 there was a blue Trail Boss Colorado there, which is not my vehicle. After searching up and down the lots multiple times to find my truck, I could not find it and went back inside. After waiting an additional 15-20 minutes, the lady searching for my vehicle realized they were not my keys. What should have been at most an hour for an oil change turned into a 3-4 hour endeavor. I will not be going back for any minor maintenance needs.

Experience is sa,e as all my other visits....courteous, professional, nice.....People are friendly and I enjoy being there (given having to get maintenance done is a necessary evil) - they seem to make it a little more pleasant. NOW - what I don't like is RK got rid of the express lube. I don't like making appointments unless I am dropping off. Mainly because what typically happens is I have to be there at the appointed time, but due to one thing or another the mechanic will not be able to hold up to their end of the appointment. If I make an appointment, I expect the vehicle to be taken care of at that time....That is not usually the case from my experience. I really wish RK would reconsider the removal of the express lube.

We dropped my car off at 9am and was told it would be a few hours. We called for an update at 1pm and was told it should be ready by 2pm. My car wasn't ready till 3pm. We asked if they could pull my vehicle up as getting out of the garage is real tight and they said of course they would. They told me my vehicle was parked in one of two rows and I had to go and find it. My vehicle was parked in the way back of the parking lot, almost unable to get out because of the cars parked the wrong way. When I entered the vehicle, my lug nut key was sitting in the cup holder. I had no idea what it was, so I had to walk up there and ask what it was. I was told it was policy to place it there. It would have been nice to know that before wondering if something wasn't right. I honestly won't be bringing my vehicle back for service. Also, please do something about the disaster of a parking lot you guys have. There are cars parked everywhere, making each lane a one way. You also can't see around some of the vehicles that are parked, making it hard to tell if someone is driving towards you.

Our car 2023 Trailblazer that we bought brand new in Nov 2023 has been to the dealership 3 times for the rear window washer fluid hoses leaking on the inside of car. Our Service Advisor Mallory Mault was NOT forthcoming with us in keeping us informed of the progress of the repairs, on numerous occasions she lied to us. We finally got the service manager Billy involved and he took control of the situation. Even though they did provide us with a loaner truck. I expected more from this service department to rectify this problem. I'm currently looking into buying a new truck and was considering buying a Silverado. But if this is how GM and their dealerships treat their customers I'm really having second thoughts about owning another Chevrolet. I'm hoping this last repair has fixed the problem for good.
